It’s a bit annoying when your mom turns you as her grammar wizard and spellchecker before posting comments/statuses/wall posts on Facebook. She just asked me what “sympathy” is spelled like five times in a row, with the usual “Huh?” “Ano ulit?” “May H ba ha? May H?” in between. Not convinced and a bit exasperated, she said, “Lumapit ka kasi dito para hindi ako tanong nang tanong.” Mothers!
