out of ink

As I run up to Tuesday, my self-imposed workout resumption day, I took a few lifts with the 10-pound dumbbell my uncle bequeathed to me. Not too brag but 10 pounds is too sissy for me. But since I had to gradually re-acquaint myself again to weights after an injury, 10 pounds is I guess the borderline between safety and needed resistance. It was a smooth 10 reps with my right arm. But when I passed the steel to my left, heaved about 5 to 6 reps, the pain suddenly seared again. I haven’t fully recovered yet. It’s time to take out the NSAIDs and ice again. I don’t know what I’ll do on Tuesday without hurting myself or if Tuesday will be pushed back for a week more. This is disappointing.
